Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using ones shoes, as well as the floor, as a percussive instrument.
Tap classes are high energy with a focus on technical elements, rhythm, choreography, stylistic differences, and dynamics. Tap dance can also be improvisational or musical theater based.
Tap Class Options & Requirements:
Jr. Tap (Ages 4-6) – An introduction to tap for students of ages 4-6. Dancers learn basic tap terminology and classroom etiquette. Memory, body awareness, and rhythm are the focus of this class, by way of games and tap combinations.

Tap Class Requirements:
Students should expect to stay at the same level for a minimum of 2 years.
Class attire – Form fitting shorts or pants, leotard or form fitting shirt, hair secured away from face, tap shoes.
